Tazacorte Puerto

The apartment building Balcon del Puerto is located right next to the sea at Puerto de Tazacorte. With an average of 3,850 hours of sunshine per year, Puerto de Tazacorte is the sunniest place in Europe. The water temperatures are over 20°C all year round, so you can swim 365 days a year. Due to the trade winds, the temperatures in summer are very pleasant and nothing like the heat on the Spanish mainland. The island’s most beautiful and longest sandy beach stretches for more than 1.5 km and invites you to swim, walk and relax all year round.

The house is a standalone building situated between the fishing harbour and marina of Tazacorte and the small village Puerto de Tazacorte. Here you can get everything you need for daily life in the mini-market and you can order fresh bread rolls to be picked up in the morning. A pharmacy and a variety of restaurants on the seafront promenade complete the range of facilities in the area. Everything is within walking distance and the public transport goes from here to all parts of the island.

The apartment building has an elevator and barrier-free access. An underground parking space belongs to the apartment and can be used by the tenants. WiFi is available to our tenants free of charge.

Our apartment is 80 square metres in size including the wind-protected, sunny terrace facing the sea. A large living room, the SALON, with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors and sea view has been furnished to a high standard with furniture custom-made by a local carpenter. The large, oak dining table offers ample space for six people. From the spacious sofa bed you can enjoy magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean.

The bedroom EL MAR with its large, queen-sized double bed (180×200 cm) has large glass doors affording sea views and with direct access to the sun terrace. The solid oak double bed was custom-made by a Palmerian carpenter. Two built-in cupboards offer enough space for everything you need on holiday. There is also a safe in the bedroom.

Bedroom No. 2 – EL SILENCIO – is furnished with two single beds (each 90 x 200 cm) with an east-facing patio. This means that this bedroom is always quiet. The two oak single beds (90×200 cm) and bedside tables were also handmade by a carpenter. A three-level, fitted cupboard offers plenty of space for clothes and bed linen. The suitcases can easily be stowed under the beds.

The bathroom BAÑO with natural stone tiles and a marble washstand invites you to relax after your stay on the beach. A spacious bathtub with jacuzzi complements the existing glass shower.

Kitchen AMERICANA

The modern fitted kitchen is connected to the living room by a counter. Thus the sea view can also be enjoyed when cooking. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, a cooker-oven combination with extractor hood and a washing machine. Furthermore there is a coffee machine, toaster, kettle and an electric juicer for fresh orange juice in the morning.

La Palma

La Palma, one of the most western Canary Islands, was declared a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site and has therefore been spared from mass tourism. Most of the island is covered with extensive pine forests, the Palmarian pines. There are four climate zones on the island. The subtropical climate means that up to 500 metres in altitude bananas, avocados, papayas, mangos and figs can be grown. The everyday life of the local population, the Palmeros, still follows the daily rhythm of nature.

Rates

Our holiday apartment costs €120 per night plus Airbnb’s booking fees. There is a one-off fee of €100 for the cleaning at the end of your stay. As it is always warm and sunny on La Palma, this price is valid all year round.
